Dr Danny Ho

Danny graduated from the University of Sydney in 2004 and completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree with First Class Honours and the University Medal. During his undergraduate course, he was awarded three scholarships and won twelve prizes in different dental fields, including Operative Dentistry, Removable Prosthodontics, Orthodontics, Pathology, and Research. He completed his Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontics in 2010, with admission to the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons as a Fellow in the Stream of Periodontics (FRACDS Perio). Additionally, he obtained his Fellowship in the General Stream (FRACDS) in early 2010.

Danny has been involved with undergraduate dentistry and postgraduate specialist training over the past twenty years and has given numerous lectures over the years.

Danny is an examiner for the Membership and Fellowship Streams of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and is a visiting Specialist at the Adelaide Dental Hospital. He is a past President of the Australian Society of Periodontology (SA Branch) and works with AHPRA. His ANZAP award-winning research involved clinical and radiographic evaluation of novel dental implants and he has a passion for all facets of periodontology, including general periodontal treatment, mucogingival therapy, orthodontics-related treatment, and implantology.

Dr William Mak

Dr. William Mak graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2016, achieving the prestigious Australian Dental Association Award for Most Outstanding Standard in the Final Year of the Bachelor of Dental Surgery Program. During his prior undergraduate studies, he also received the Symbion Pharmacy Services Prize for excellence, along with a place on the Chancellor’s Commendation List.

After completing his degree, William worked in both hospital and private practice settings, gaining a diverse range of clinical experience. This has provided him with a strong foundation in general dentistry before embarking on specialist training.

Throughout his career, William has been involved in teaching and mentoring undergraduate dental students, contributing to the development of future dental professionals.

Known for his gentle approach and meticulous attention to detail, William is committed to delivering the highest standards of care. He is also fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay, and Hokkien, enabling him to connect with a diverse range of patients and make them feel at home during their visits.
